PostSubject: Asche 80 Warlock Transfer   Asche 80 Warlock Transfer I_icon_minitimeThu Jul 16, 2009 8:56 pm

1 - Please provide your RL specs (age, sex, marital status, yiffer, etc.)
34 Male Single, not looking, not interested Not exactly sure what yiffer is so just to play safe no.
2 - Have you read our mission statement and structure?
I have read it, beer in hand.
3 - What raiding experience do you have? Please specify what roles/classes you have played in the past.
Vanilla WoW I raided Molten Core, AQ 20, ZG, more times than I can remember. BC I didn't play so much after Kara because my life at the time took me away,(Long Haul Owner/Operator Truck Driver). If the wheels wern't moving I wasn't paying my fuel bill..... Wrath I have done all of the 5 mans, Naxx 10 and 25 way too much, some Malygos only finished on 10. All of the BC and before was done on my Lock and my rogue, All of the Wrath has been done on my DK. My guild here on Thunderhorn didn't need a lock they needed a melee DPS.
4 - Please submit an armory link and chat about your raiding spec. If you are planning on starting a new character on Staghelm, let us know what spec you plan on having at 80.
Asche - http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Thunderhorn&n=Asche Affliction/Destruction and the dual is Destruction/Affliction
Azraiella -http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Thunderhorn&n=Azraiella Blood DPS amd the dual is a Blood PvP. I have a hell of a tanking set but I haven't used it much, with 6 tanks in guild I am not needed to do it often.
5 - Please list your previous Guild(s) and why you left (Transfer applicants should also include previous Guild Master and 2 members, and yes, we are asking because we want to know if it ended amicably)
Honor Brigade - The guild broke up when a few officers left
Gothic Bunnys - I left this guild to form a raiding guild with a few RL friends
Champions of Death - This guild imploded when I was out on the road driving, I got to listen to the destruction thru many many phone calls
Gothic Bunnys - This guild fell apart after all of the officers quit playing, one day we had no guild. It was fun.
Sinful Spirits - I like everyone in this guild. they are all good people. I am just ready for a change to the next level.
GM - Bjornstern
Officers - Hellswitch / Drenda
6 - Can you make ALL of the raid times for the foreseeable future?
Yes I can, unless work changes, the start times will be no problem
7 - Do you know an existing member of Bound? If so, do you believe they will admit it?
No :-(
8 - List any alts over level 70 and their professions if you plan on having them in the guild.
Azraiella 80 DK 450 Mining 430 Engineering
9 - Please list 3 resource websites you frequently utilize for information on developing your in-game play.
wowhead, elitistjerks, and maxdps
10 - If you are in a pick up group and one of the member's of your party accuses you of "ninja'ing" an item, what do you do? (there is not just one right answer here. Smile)
I would laugh at them for one because that isn't my style. If they were serious, I would petition a GM for a give the item to the noob plea. And if all else failed, I would DE the damn thing and offer them the shard.
11 - What are your PC's performance specifications?
Asus X-Gamer1
Core Duo T7300 @2.00GHZ
Nvida 8600m GT
2 Gigs of RAM
I run two moniters, the stock one on the laptop and a 21" MAG Innovision
I have had no issues running any of the in game instances, 10 or 25 man.
12 - Please provide any other information you would like to include, about yourself such as where you live, etc, and about your character and/or why you think Bound would be a good fit.
I am a truck driver from Oregon. I have played WoW since patch 1.3. Almost all of my toons are undead chicks. I was NOT going to watch a dude run for anything so my toons are female. I like the undead racial ablities because they are so useful for leveling. My toon that I am interested in transferring is my lock. She just hit 80 so her gear is NOT up where it needs to be. I am having a hard time finding groups to run any of the five mans because all anyone seems to care about is running Uldar. So I get pugs in when I can. All of my effort in game has been focused on my DK, The reason I was drawn to your show was because of the DK point of view from Haf. I would love to play AZ but you can throw a stick and hit 32342 DK's. So I'm assuming that you have no need for another one. :-(
This isn't my first MMO. I started out playing Ultima Online. That was fun for a while but it got old due to silly things happening. I switched to Star Wars Galaxies for about 22 months. That was fun untill the Combat Upgrade ruined the game. I kept playing it untill the next huge change drove me out. They made Jedi a start class. After watching a RL friend make the "Jedi Grind", it was too much to stay playing it. So I put 130 million credits on my house repair fund and canceled my atm card payment. I haven't logged in in almost 4 years, but a friend called a few weeks ago to tell me that my house was still there . I had a hell of a laugh!!!
I have listened to you podcast since episode #2. I can identify with a lot of the things you are saying about not having people to do things. I am not elitist but seriously, how hard is it to show up to raids "Repaired and Prepared". I posted this in a post on my current guilds website and I was told that I was too hardcore. All I said was, people should come to raids repaired, with the buff food that they need, potions, and elixrs. Is that too much to ask?
You guys sound like a neat bunch of people and I would love to see if I can be an asset to the team. Thank you for looking at me
Joe

Caught a bit of the vent conversation towards the end there and I also look forward to seeing you around in game. Also, shout out to another Oregonian, we have a few now.
