Axi / Baby Warlock Reroll / Possible Transfers. Empty
PostSubject: Axi / Baby Warlock Reroll / Possible Transfers.   Axi / Baby Warlock Reroll / Possible Transfers. I_icon_minitimeSun Jul 26, 2009 1:17 pm

1 - Please provide your RL specs (age, sex, marital status, yiffer, etc.)

26, Male, Single, never a Yiffer but I'm sure I know people who grew up to do so if the amount of flack I got in primary school for not liking Gadget from Rescue Rangers is anything to go by. I'm sorry, I don't generally go for blondes but Captain Planet's Linka was by far the superior 1990 cartoon gal.

2 - Have you read our mission statement and structure?

I have, I even read between the lines and have purchased prophylactics and ironed the cheerleader outfit I had around for undisclosed reasons.

3 - What raiding experience do you have? Please specify what roles/classes you have played in the past.

I've dabbled into restoration raid healing on my Shaman but spent the vast majority of my time (and all my raiding time in BC and Wrath) as Elemental DPS. I had a level 70 Ret Paladin that spent a lot of time in Kara and ZA but when they simplified the class mechanics I lost interest. My newest characters are a level 80 Death Knight and Druid which have seen a lot of Naxx and glimpses of Ulduar. My healing experience these days is minimal but I'm open to figuring it out again.

I missed a lot of dedicated 25 man content in BC due to guild loyalty, but got to see a lot of it as I tended to be a go to guy replacement for more progressed raider buddies when half their guild fell asleep or logged off in frustration on the 10th wipe in a row. I think I've witnessed more 'last attempts of the night' than I can count.

4 - Please submit an armory link and chat about your raiding spec. If you are planning on starting a new character on Staghelm, let us know what spec you plan on having at 80.

I've always wanted to level a Warlock so I'd like to level one here to start with. I'm not sure of spec but I'm thinking Demonology as everyone says that's an awful spec but that just makes me determined to figure out how to make it work and/or provide benefits that other Warlock specs lack. I have a habit of being drawn to less popular classes, specs and ideas to see if I can make them work without being a liability and providing benefits cookie cutter raids and groups aren't used to seeing.

My main and leveled alts I'm willing to bring in follow:

Elemental Shaman: Aratis
Balance/Resto Druid: Mafdet
Frost/Blood DPS Death Knight: Skaro
Red Headed Stepchild Paladin I keep threatening to go Holy with: Arathys

5 - Please list your previous Guild(s) and why you left (Transfer applicants should also include previous Guild Master and 2 members, and yes, we are asking because we want to know if it ended amicably)

I've pretty much only been in the guild Black Undertide on Uldum for the past five years. The only times this has not been true have been due to failed guild mergers...you know how it is. The GM of the guild is Brenkite and officers include Chivalrys and Vervain. There would be no drama if any one of my characters left.

6 - Can you make ALL of the raid times for the foreseeable future?

I do not know, it is the big reason why I want to reroll first and get a feel for the guild and raid times and see if it is possible. I am Australian and if I did the conversion correctly I'd be raiding at 8:45am, but I've been playing WoW since before Oceanic servers existed and never played on one, so I'm used to American raiding times and I've made 9am regularly.

7 - Do you know an existing member of Bound? If so, do you believe they will admit it?

I do not believe I know anyone in the guild, but if I did know a male they'd admit it to be sure you're rid of my awful puns, and if female they'd admit it to make sure everyone is warned about my flirting.

8 - List any alts over level 70 and their professions if you plan on having them in the guild.

I could bring any one of my characters to the guild. My Shaman is an Engineer, my Druid is a Leatherworker, my Death Knight is an Inscriber and my Paladin is lamenting his neglect and sobbing quietly.

9 - Please list 3 resource websites you frequently utilize for information on developing your in-game play.

Elitist Jerks, WoWhead and Something Awful's Warcraft forum.

10 - If you are in a pick up group and one of the member's of your party accuses you of "ninja'ing" an item, what do you do? (there is not just one right answer here. )

I calmly apologise, explain that mail spell power gear isn't for Hunters, that I won the roll and if he had an issue with the loot system he should have mentioned it at the start of the instance and there isn't anything I can do now. While this goes on I mock him in guild chat because I never get to be mean to anyone and anyone that'd accuse me of ninja'ing would likely deserve it as I'm the most conservative guy when it comes to picking up loot ever. Even after I've won the roll.

11 - What are your PC's performance specifications?

I can provide details, but simply put I have a 3Ghz PC with 4 Gigs of RAM and oh god is this nice compared to trying to play WoW on my old computer with 512MB of ram

12 - Please provide any other information you would like to include, about yourself such as where you live, etc, and about your character and/or why you think Bound would be a good fit.

Listening to the Rawrcast has reminded me of my favourite guild talk moments and Stomp and Haf remind me of many couples I've raided with in which I can be myself, make dirty jokes, hit on the wife and nobody minds as I'm half a world away and people like my accent - all the while the raid is having fun and getting things done without incident. Being in my current guild as long as I have, I'd like to get back to the fun stuff without the 'Keep the family together' pressure one gets when I've been in a skilled but stalled guild for so long and am the 'nice officer'.

Oh and pretty much everyone calls me Axi.

I also tried to keep the walls of text amusing, but if all the extraneous bullshit wasn't needed I apologise
