1 - Please provide your RL specs (age, sex, marital status, yiffer, etc.)
34 male, single and not seriously looking (was divorced already). I had to look up Yiffer and, no, not interested in that; curious, maybe. In a scientific way, of course.
2 - Have you read our mission statement and structure?
I have, and I think that it is one of the main draws Bound has for me.
3 - What raiding experience do you have? Please specify what roles/classes you have played in the past.
Raided BWL, MC and AQ on my old alliance druid, heal spec (this was on the Detheroc server). During BC I didn't raid as I rerolled horde on a different server. The guild I joined on Vashj was very casual and very close, but now its too casual and mostly empty.
4 - Please submit an armory link and chat about your raiding spec. If you are planning on starting a new character on Staghelm, let us know what spec you plan on having at 80.http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Vashj&n=Greatjohn
I'd like to continue as a resto, though I've been curious about balance. I also love the feral spec and will solo/quest/grind with it just for the fun.
I will admit that I probably need work on a raiding spec since it has been so long since I've raid healed.
5 - Please list your previous Guild(s) and why you left (Transfer applicants should also include previous Guild Master and 2 members, and yes, we are asking because we want to know if it ended amicably)
The alliance guild was called BOOMSLANG and I really don't know if they play anymore. The GM was named Stowelley.
My last guild was Limited Warranty. GM is Bumwaller/Okole, other players: Ariki and Inaera.
6 - Can you make ALL of the raid times for the foreseeable future?
7 - Do you know an existing member of Bound? If so, do you believe they will admit it?
I don't, but I have been listening to the podcast
8 - List any alts over level 70 and their professions if you plan on having them in the guild.
I plan on having a DK bank alt but he wouldn't be connected to the guild.
9 - Please list 3 resource websites you frequently utilize for information on developing your in-game play.
Wowhead, wowwiki.com, and i browse a lot of different blogs for tidbits (bigbearbutt, wow.com)
10 - If you are in a pick up group and one of the member's of your party accuses you of "ninja'ing" an item, what do you do? (there is not just one right answer here. Smile)
Well, first I only need on things that would be an upgrade and I limit myself to 1 need a run unless no one else wants the item. If the other member still says that I'm a ninja even after I prove how much of an upgrade it is, I wouldn't try to argue it in party chat and try to continue to finish the run; no sense bogging down everyone else with the drama. Afterward, I'd try to get the person to tell me why it was a ninja move and discuss it. If that didn't work, I'd probably end up just ignoring them since the issue wouldn't seem to be with the loot anymore (I don't like feeding into negative emotions, especially in a game).
11 - What are your PC's performance specifications?
Intel quadcore Q6600 @2.40GHz, 2 gigs of ram, NVidiaGeForce 8800 GT
12 - Please provide any other information you would like to include, about yourself such as where you live, etc, and about your character and/or why you think Bound would be a good fit.
Well, what first drew me to Bound was the Rawr Cast podshow and way that they're serious about the game but in a very fun and funny way. I really like the idea of structured fun, of logging in and know (at least roughly) what I'll be doing for the night. Mostly, I want to find a community of people who are welcoming, supportive and active.
Personal stuff- I live in Minnesota and have been known to fall into that accent from time to time. I appreciate a good joke whether crude or not. I'm a little shy on vent at first but warm up quickly.
Anyway, I hope to hear from you all soon and thanks for the consideration.
